  3. Overview:
  4. ---------
  5. TOURNEY64 manages a 64 team College Basketball Tournament Pool. The limit on the number of
  6. entries the program can handle is 16,350. This system has been in use since 1991, although 
  7. many improvements have taken place since then. The program is packed with features. Numerous 
  8. user selectable options are available. The program is so flexible it can even be used for other 
  9. 64 team single elimination tournament pools. The program handles the tournament from beginning 
  10. to end with ease. You determine the scoring rules for your pool, numerous headings, 6 different 
  11. reports, some with different options. Several things set Tourney64 apart from other college 
  12. basketball pool programs:

  14. 1. The ALL PICKS report shows every pick for every person in every round, on one sheet of paper. 
  15. This way everyone can follow the tournament as it proceeds. Another nice feature of this report,
  16. is that when the results are updated, the selections are marked wrong in the reports. You will 
  17. look like a genius when you print this one. Your pool participants will know what is going on 
  18. from beginning to end. Other programs print only a portion of the picks, leaving your pool 
  19. participants less informed and involved.

  21. 2. The entering of picks is done with a mouse click, and the default is the higher seeded team.
  22. This means you only need to enter the picks that are not the higher seeded team. About 75-85% of 
  23. the selections are for the higher seeded team. Each entry form can be entered in about 20-40 
  24. seconds. Other programs take at least 2 1/2 minutes per entry.

  26. 3. Possible scenarios can be done at any point in the tournament with ease. Other programs make
  27. you wait until the final four teams.

  64. Open the file within Excel, then save the program as an Excel Worksheet with a different name 
  65. for safe keeping of the original.

  67. Shareware delays and messages:
  68. ------------------------------
  69. Tourney64 has shareware delays and messages on printouts. The delays get longer as the 
  70. tournament proceeds. A pass code can be purchased to disable the shareware messages and 
  71. delays. The program will continue to operate throughout the tournament, even though a pass 
  72. code has not been purchased. The pass code will be emailed, and mailed along with diskette, 
  73. so you can disable the annoying delays and messages before the disk arrives in the mail.

  77. Tourney64 is shareware, so try it for free for 7 days. If you like it, then send the
